Account Executive – New England Region

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Communications Link Services Corporation (CLSC), a provider of professional voice, data, video, audio and wireless systems designed specifically for our client’s needs, seeks an Account Executive for its New England Region.

The Account Executive-New England Region (MA, RI, southern NH and southern ME) will be responsible for prospecting, planning, organizing and closing sales with both new and existing clients, with a primary focus on building profitable new growth opportunities within the assigned region.

The Account Executive is expected to identify potential new clients and respond to existing client’s needs, matching those needs with the appropriate technical solution among all related CLSC products and services. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sales forecasting, implementation of pricing policy, managing direct customer sales relationships with new and existing customers, and other activities as necessary to support viable revenue growth in the assigned region.

The Account Executive will spend 50% to 70% of their work day in the assigned region traveling within their territory calling on new or existing customers at their business location for sales calls, sales presentation, or to attend customer meetings. This will require the ability to travel and sit for long periods of time as necessary. The Account Executive may be required to lift up to 40 pounds.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in the telecommunications industry; demonstrated ability to learn a wide variety of hardware/software technologies.

Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in the telecommunication industry handling sales through cold calling; proven track record of success in building and maintaining relationships with both new and existing customers and maintaining customer satisfaction; experience with business networking, including the ability to identify and evaluate a client’s existing and potential product needs and make recommendations.

Skills/Qualifications: Demonstrated successful record of business-to-business sales; strong oral and written communication skills; professional demeanor; high energy and attention to detail. Proven ability to identify and qualify sales opportunities, sales forecasting skills, and experience preparing sales presentations, proposals and contracts are also required.

In addition to the above requirements, the successful candidate:

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and have a clean driving record.
  • Must have a stable career history.
  • Must be able to insure proper customer record keeping.
  • Must have strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office suite.

 

Audio & Video Installation Technician

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 2 or more years in commercial low voltage installation preferably in audio and video.
  • A Cable Technician installs, connects, tests, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs cables for multiple venders’ equipment such as voice & data, audio & video, security systems, and satellite at commercial locations. The cabling technician works with assigned crew at various commercial locations to effectively complete the assigned cabling project.
  • Experienced in analog and digital installations including distribution and connectivity process.
  • Experienced in coaxial distribution systems with amplifiers, taps and video displays for multi –level facilities.
  • Experienced in the installation and trouble shooting of audio systems
  • Ability to learn and perform required duties.
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers and employees.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write short correspondence
  • and present information to customer and other employees.
  • Ability to think and work independently
  • Manage projects and meet deadlines
  • Problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Able to operate hand tools, pliers, screwdrivers, hammer, wrenches, strippers, crimpers, power tools, and test equipment
  • Highly motivated individual, with proven record of high productivity, self starter.
  • Must be willing to participate in technical training as needed.
  • Able to lift up to 75lbs and work from ladders safely.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
  • All new hires successfully complete a background check as condition of employment.

 

Field Technician

Communications Link Services Corporation (CLSC), a provider of professional voice, data, video, audio, security and wireless systems designed specifically for our client’s needs, has openings for a highly motivated Technician with more than 2 years experience, cabling skills in voice, data, and audio/video and a proven record of high productivity.

The cabling Technician installs, connects, tests, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs cables for multiple vendors’ equipment such as voice & data, audio & video, security systems, and satellite at commercial locations. The cabling Technician works with project managers and other technicians to effectively complete the assigned cabling project.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Insures the highest quality service is provided to the customer while maintaining all system specifications, and procedures.
  • Uses problem-solving and technical skills to perform installations according to work order.
  • Evaluates job site to assess optimal placement assigned job order and communicates with customers to review the installation process.
  • Troubleshoots systems to determine the appropriate resolution for reported problems with usage.
  • Provides customer education regarding system usage.
  • Operates company vehicles, hand tools, power tools, ladders and low-voltage equipment.
  • Completes required paperwork including timesheets, work orders, van inventory log and other logs as required.
  • Maintains a clean and organized company vehicle/equipment.
  • Must convey a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the company’s products and services to our customers.
  • Works effectively with other crew members to complete assigned cabling project.
  • Adheres to all safety guidelines.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Two years or more working experience with low voltage installation services REQUIRED.
  • Able to read and follow technical instructions, write short correspondence
  • Regularly scheduled hours Monday thru Friday 7 am — 3:30 pm; must be flexible, willing to work weekends when needed.
  • Must be willing to participate in technical training as needed.
  • Must be strongly mechanically inclined.
  • Must be able to frequently lift, handle, and carry 30-35-pounds; may occasionally be required to lift up to 125 pounds.
  • Must be comfortable working in small spaces and/or at various heights; will be required to climb ladders in a safe manner.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Employees, including any tools or equipment that are carried, must be able to remain within the OSHA weight requirements of the rung of a ladder (250 pounds)
  • Must be able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb, and lift throughout each day.

A background check will be performed as part of pre-employment screening.
